Therapy can be helpful if you’re experiencing stress, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, or are seeking personal growth. It’s also beneficial if you want to improve communication, work through conflicts, or deepen emotional connection with yourself or your partner.
Typically, the first 2–4 sessions are considered the assessment period. During this time, I’ll ask questions about your personal history, ancestry, current experiences, strengths, and more. This allows me to better understand the experiences that have shaped your life and begin tailoring therapy to your needs. I recognize that meeting a new clinician can feel like meeting a stranger, so you are encouraged to share only what you feel comfortable with and to set any boundaries that feel important to you.
My private pay rate is $170 per session. Coverage for behavioral health services can vary depending on your insurance plan. Individual clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to verify their behavioral health benefits.
I accept Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans for individual therapy sessions. Couples therapy is not billable to insurance and is not eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.
Sessions are typically 55 minutes unless otherwise specified. This applies to both individual and couples therapy.
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment will be charged the full session fee. Please note that late cancellations are not billable to insurance and clients are responsible for the full contracted rate.
It’s normal to feel uncertain. A 15-minute phone consultation gives us a chance to connect, answer your questions, and help you decide if therapy feels like a good fit. Feel free to reach out through the contact page to schedule a consultation.
